Dare Community Crime Line is a vital bridge between the Dare County community of citizens and law enforcement officials. We actively facilitate neighborhood safety and security by providing an anonymous, safe way to report suspected crimes and by financially rewarding those tips that lead to an actual arrest.
Pets are one of the most important parts of our lives. They look at us for discipline, affection, companionship and exercise. The beach can be the perfect place for all this. Obviously you want to make sure that you respect the towns' ordinances and regulations.
Kill Devil Hills Leash law requires leash not to exceed 10 ft. in length.
In-Season (May 15th - Sep 15th):
From 9:00 am - 6:00 pm - no dogs are allowed on town beaches, except those aiding a handicap person.
Garbage Collection Schedule
Locations utilizing dumpsters shall be collected Monday through Friday, up to five times per week. Frequency of collection is based on the amount of refuse generated at each site.
Holidays and other special events or emergency collection schedules will be posted in advance on the Town’s website and published in local newspapers.
Locations utilizing roll out carts shall be collected once or twice weekly.
Off-Season Garbage Collection:
I know bon fires aren’t allowed, but what about burning yard debris? Can I do that in Kill Devil Hills?
No open burning is allowed in Town. For yard debris, the Town offers fall and spring bulk waste collections, and property owners and residents may access Kill Devil Hills’ Dry Trash Drop Off Center by obtaining a special decal from the Public Services Department, 252-480-4080.

First of all I hope that y'all are as excited of the launch of allOBX.com as we are here at the office. I am sure that our directory is going to be an excellent place to find everything you need to know about the Outer Banks.
Now, many people may be thinking that we could be seeing as competition to Craigslist OBX, however I want to clarify that we have a complete different model and that our offering is considerably different.
